(The Foundation of Education is accepting scholarship applications)....The Foundation operates under the Imperial County Office of Education.

The applications are for High School seniors in alternative education/continuation schools and students with special needs. The scholarships aim to support students attending a career technical school, community college or university in the Fall of 2025. Last year the Foundation awarded 27 $500 scholarships. Four Higher Ed Week Scholarships, and one UCSD Academic Connections Scholarship.. Scholarships can be used for tuition, academic fees, Room and Board, and the purchase of educational materials. Students interested in applying must submit a personal essay, a completed application, two letters of recommendation and their high school transcript.
