(Mexico is hosting the 67th Annual Caribbean Series)...The Caribbean Series is one of the most important baseball tournaments, second only to the World Series.

The Caribbean Series is being played in Mexicali, in the Aguila's El Nido Stadium. Not only is Mexico hosting the tournament, they are in a good position to win it. They will take on the Dominican Republic Friday night in the Championship game. Mexico is favored to win the Championship game, have already defeated the Dominican Republic in the Qualifying round.. Also Friday is the game for third place. Puerto Rico will play against Venezuela. If Mexico does win Friday it would be their 10th Caribbean title. If the Dominican Republic wins, it will be their 23rd Championship.
