(US Attorney Tara McGrath is being replaced)....She has been the Chief Law Enforcement officer in the Southern District of California.

As a Presidential appointee, McGrath has been notified by the White House of her termination. The order was at the direction of the President of the United States. The Southern District covers San Diego and Imperial Counties. McGrath says it has been an honor to serve as US Attorney. There is no word as to who will be her replacement.
