According to the action, the Directors agreed to reduce summer power bills by 25%. The reduction will be in effect from June Through September 2025. The reduction is backed by an $81 million allocation to provide immediate financial relief to customers during the hottest months of the year.. By eliminating the prior flexable and unpredictable Energy Cost Adjustment, the Board was able to deliver a more stable, transparent rate structure while directing funds toward real savings for customers. The $81 million allocation was the result of the elimination of the prior ECA. That allocations is being returned to the customers. through the 25% reduction in summer power bills.
