(A jury found Ivan Quintana guilty of all charges)...The verdict was released this week.

Quintana was charged with 5 felonies and one misdemeanor. He was serving a prison sentence at the Calipatria State Prison when he committed the crimes he was charged with. The crimes were committed in March 2023. He was charged with sexually battering a prison employee followed by battering and resisting two correctional officers. The jury found Quintana guilty of all charges during a very short deliberation. The jury also agreed Quintana posed a serious danger to society. He has multiple previous felonies on his criminal record. He had been scheduled for release on parole next year but is now sure to spend more time in Prison. Quintana will be sentenced on January 15.
