(Ban On Flavored Tobacco in California)...The ban begins on New Years Day.

The ban was approved through Assembly Bill 2019. Assembly Bill 3218 builds on implementation of the ban. The enforcement of the ban will be through efforts of the Attorney General's office and will establish a list of all tobacco products that are permissably unflavored and allowed to be sold in California. The logic behind the ban is that Flavored Tobacco attracts under aged tobacco purchases.
