(Trash Truck caught fire)....It was reported at 8:49 Monday morning.

The truck was on Hammers Road, between Anza Road and Highway 98. The driver of the truck was able to get out of the truck. No injuries were reported. Hammers Road was closed due to the fire. The truck was in the middle of the southbound lane. Border Patrol agents blocked traffic in the area until the California Highway Patrol could arrive.
