The Imperial County Board of Supervisors has proclaimed February 7 - 14, 2025, as National marriage Week.

The proclamation was made at the Tuesday board meeting to recognize the importance of strong marriages in building healthy families and thriving communities. According to the proclamation, by promoting commitment, communication, and mutual support, strong marriages contribute to social stability, economic well-being and the overall quality of life in Imperial County.
