It is said that time waits for no one but that's not always the case.

The City of Calexico postponed the opening of a Time Capsule. Originally scheduled for April 17th, due to a forecast of high winds, the ceremony has been delayed until Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. The time capsule was buried 30 years ago and will be opened as part of the City of Calexico's birthday celebrations.
