The Imperial County Board of Supervisors met earlier this week.
The board approved a resolution adopting plans and specifications and authorized public bidding for the Bowker Road Rehabilitation Project. The work will cover Bowker Road from McCabe Road to Ross Road. The project is expected to improve road safety, extend pavement life and enhance regional connectivity. The board also authorized a letter to EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin to witness the environmental issues along the New River. The board also will send letters to Senators Adam Schiff and Alex Padilla to urge federal advocacy and action to address the issues of the New Rive.
